People won't stop talking about The Atlantic's new article, which is crazy, because how would they learn what it says without reading it? How mysterious. But I thought I would throw in my 2 cents about 'The End of Reading is Here' by Rose Horowitch . While I was in rant mode, I decided to revive my review of Mac Barnett's Make Believe.

A Song of Ice and Fire

These past three months I've been making my way through these books- and finally I am free. Free in that I might have a lifelong obbsession with them- but at least I can read other things now.

My Platforms! They're Decaying! In anticipation of Platform Decay coming out I decided to reread all of the Murderbot Diaries- and now it's my sacred mission to convince you to read them too.

Sunny Side Up

Even though it's one of our most popular graphic novel series, I had never looked twice at the Sunny series. That was until I read a School Library Journal article about an attempt to ban it. To my surprise, this book was funny and thoughtful. It depicts a little girl, Sunny, who is sent to spend her Summer with her grandfather because her older brother at home is dealing with substance abuse problems. I found it to be an age-appropriate narrative that would be valuable for young readers.
