His fear of going back to poverty based on the fact that he was the only one of his siblings to NOT go to college, drove him to have a "hustler's mentality" and do whatever it took to make money LEGALLY, and stay out of that situation as best as possible. When he met his wife, her fearlessness, drive and determination were things he saw in himself, and knew he wanted to be there to support her in her aspirations and dreams, becoming HIS aspirations and dreams.
