Beskrivelse

Hey Barcrawlers! Thank you so much for your patience with us for getting these episodes out. This first one is so important and exciting that we even forgot to introduce ourselves and the show! This episode is our recommendations for voting in Florida. As two queer women, one of whom is a woman of color, we disagree with the idea of "it doesn't matter who you vote for, as long as you vote." IT ABSOLUTELY MATTERS WHO YOU VOTE FOR. So, we give a run down of who we recommend and why. Obviously, you should just do what we say, but we will still give you reasons!  Early voting started in our county yesterday and I plan on getting in today if possible. Please vote, and please vote responsibly.

episode The US Camel Corps cover

The US Camel Corps

Hey Barcrawlers! Sorry for the delay on this going up. But this was a special episode. Not only because our sound was weird because SOMEONE kept messing with the microphone (not naming names, but it begins with a "J" and ends with "ordan"), but we also had some guests! Jordan and Kellie helped Kate with an episode while she was out of town. Anais was so excited to be left alone for a few days! Anyway! This episode is about the US Camel Corps. Before the Civil War, the army was trying to find ways to travel across the West and decided to bring in some camels. How did they do? Also, did it involve certain people who eventually became president of the confederacy? Did we then design the perfect statue to commemorate these people? You will have to listen! And then go check out our instagram to see the beautiful statue that we may or may not have designed and then a friend brought to life.
