A Major Change, literally...

Welcome back to Chill with Gill! In this episode, I talk about what it really feels like to not have your life figured out in college and the pressure that comes with choosing a “right” path, or major. I share my personal experience switching from pre-med to pre-law while following my heart and passions, what led me to make that change, and how I handled the uncertainty that came with it. If you’re about to start college, or you are already in it and questioning your major, this episode is for you! We get into the fear of starting over, the pressure to stick with what you originally chose, and what it means to actually listen to yourself instead of just doing what you think you should do. I also talk about why trying new classes, exploring different interests, and being open to change is not a failure—but part of figuring out what’s right for you! You don’t need to have your whole life planned out right now, and changing your mind doesn’t mean you’re falling behind. Sometimes it just means you’re paying attention to what you actually want!

My Beige Flags

We always talk about green and red flags, but what about those things that aren't "dealbreakers" nor are they things that are always good? Well y'all, that's what we like to call a beige flag. Today I wanted to share some of my beige flags that I hope somebody can resonate with, and feel free to laugh at me if not:) From wearing croc slippers for the past four or so months straight, to not being able to take hints in situationships, these beige flags are a part of who I am!
