Inaugurated Eschatology

Inaugurated Eschatology is a theological framework that helps believers understand where we are in the biblical timeline—living after the cross and awaiting the Day of the Lord. Understanding what has already been accomplished and what has not yet come, but is still to come, helps protect us from theological error and disillusionment. This message serves as a general introduction to this important theological framework.

The Heart

The New Covenant has a specific locality: the heart. The heart is the inner self, the true self. It is the center of our thoughts, desires, affections, and will. It has the capacity for both good and evil, truth and deception, faith and unbelief. The good news of the New Covenant is that God promises to give His people a new heart. This message explores the key to receiving that new heart. How can a heart of stone, toward God or toward another person, be replaced with a heart of flesh? That is the focus of this message.

Under the Law

Are we under the Law? The answer is yes and no. But really, that’s an incomplete question. We are under the Law of Christ (Paul’s words). In this Pentecost Sunday message, celebrating when the Law was given to Moses on Mt. Sinai, we will look at the “law” that we, as New Covenant believers, ARE under.
