Halloween night has always been known to bring a spook or two, but there's been talks of checking your children's candy for years and it's all because of Ronald O'Bryan. The Media named him The Candy Man after he took his child's own life and put the risks of other children's lives at stake all because of his own misfortunes. Sip on some Limited Edition Nightmare Before Christmas Bones Coffee with us while we go over how he could possibly do this to his own family.

In 2006, Robert Wone was crashing at the home of some friends in Washington DC after a legal seminar. About an hour after his arrival to the home of Joseph Price, Victor Zaborsky and Dylan Ward, a 911 call was placed from the house, where the operated was told that Wone had been attacked by an intruder. Theories about his death circulated for years until an affidavit was released stating exactly what went down at the DuPont Circle home that August, and allowing for officers to arrest the housemates on charges of obstruction. Erika walks us through the night of the crime from the POV of each person involved, more details from the affidavit, and what followed the arrest of the men. To this day, Robert and his loved ones still have not received justice. We hope to see this case solved soon. Crime on Caffeine stands with and supports all members of the LGBTQ+ community and the BDSM community. We do not believe that your sexual orientation or sexual preferences referenced in today’s episode (when consensual) are ever any indicator of violent behavior and we refuse to speculate anything based off of those characteristics. We encourage our listeners to do the same.

In honor of it almost being spooky season. Today we are going to look into the crimes of a man who's fascination with eyeballs started as young as age 11 when his mother caught him killing animals so she put him into taxidermy classes. Charles Albright had everyone fooled with his charisma, talents, and over overachieving personality. He almost got away with murdering 3 women if only it wasn't for the pesky love of eyeballs that gave him away. Sip on some Lunar Labs Coffee with us as we discuss The Eyeball Killer.

In July of 2011, Rebecca Zahau was found nude, bound, and hanging from the second-story balcony of her boyfriend, Jonah Shacknai’s California mansion. The same mansion where Shackni’s six-year-old son, Max, was found by Zahau at the end of the stairs just two days before Rebecca’s death. He died just a few days later, his death being ruled accidental. Zahau’s death was ultimately ruled a suicide. But those close to Rebecca didn’t buy it - other than it being out of character, she was tied up, and a cryptic message was left at the scene of her death. Rebecca’s family has been fighting for over ten years to bring her justice. If you have any information about Rebecca’s case or about Adam Shacknai’s possible involvement, please contact: https://greerlawapc.com/zahau-case 1-800-366-8529 Sign the petition to get Rebecca’s case re-examined: https://chng.it/4KRQg6t8fn Drinking First Watch’s Project Sunshine https://www.firstwatch.com/project-sunrise/ https://greerlawapc.com/zahau-case
