October 31st, 1517...A Date For All Evangelicals

October 31st is honored each last Sunday in October among all Reformed Churches and Confessional Churches. Lutherans, Presbyterians, and other Reformed Denominations place an emphasis on Martin Luther's 95 Theses as a break from the universal, catholic church. In this podcast, Phil talks about the Luther's family religious beliefs, the circumstances in 1500's Germany with its mix of Christian and Norse paganism, and Luther's transformation in Christ. Coach Matthews has come full circle with Crossroads. First, as a student participating in Crossroads Campus Bible Studies at Lake Forest Middle School and Bradley Central High School. Second, as a high school wrestler at Bradley Central being a part of wrestling chapel. Now, Austin is the head girls wrestling coach at Bradley Central and assistant coach for the boys program.
