In this episode, we continue our discussion into understanding the history of democracy by expanding on the challenges/advances that the rise of populism, polarization, disinformation, economic inequality, and globalization pose to democratic systems of government. We then look into the judiciary's role in democracy and the Founding Fathers' vision for the judiciary. Finally, we look into the current state of democracy with two case studies in Nigeria and Mexico.
