Beskrivelse

Dr. Teresa Pangan, Before You Add Another Medication: What Your Energy, Cravings, and Metabolism Are Really Telling You (Especially in Midlife) In this conversation, we explore what your body may be trying to tell you—before adding another medication. Dr. Teresa Pangan, registered dietitian and nutrition scientist, explains how common struggles like low energy, persistent cravings, and weight changes are often signals—not personal failures. While these patterns can start earlier, many people first notice them in midlife, when the body becomes less forgiving and harder to “push through.” We talk about how food, stress, sleep, and daily habits shape metabolism, and how learning to read and respond to these signals can help restore energy, improve metabolic health, and support long-term well-being—at any age. Bio: Dr. Teresa Pangan, PhD, RDN is a registered dietitian and nutrition scientist who helps adults—especially in midlife—restore their energy, metabolism, and confidence through practical, sustainable nutrition. She specializes in working with individuals who feel “off” despite doing many of the right things, helping them understand what their body is signaling and how to respond with real-life, actionable strategies. Her approach bridges science and everyday life, making complex physiology feel simple and doable. ******************************************* We are doing a weekly Deprescribing class to help people find better solutions for their health. We have weekly topics or guest speakers Join live on Mondays at 11AM PT / 2PM EST Deprescribing: to taper or stop medications with the intention to achieve improved health outcomes.Sign up to receive the zoom link and announcements at https://www.DeprescribingPharmacist.org [https://www.DeprescribingPharmacist.orgOr] or watch the recordings here on bitchute. https://www.bitchute.com/DePrescribingpharmacist [https://www.bitchute.com/DePrescribingpharmacistJoin]Join our facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/DeprescribingPharmacist/https://www.facebook.com/DeprescribingPharmacist.org Dr Leyla Ali is a pharmacist and author of: Off Balance, the American Way of Health, A Pharmacist’s Perspective on Why Drugs Don’t Work. and The So You’ve been Diagnosed with Cancer and now You’re in a Panic Handbook, an Overview of Options. Deprescribing #103 Cate Christine Tap Into Your Inner Guidance

Tap Into Your Inner Guidance by Cate Christine I'm excited to welcome Cate Christine back to Deprescribing for the third time—this time to share how to tap into your inner guidance system. We all have intuition—an inner guidance system that can help us navigate life, make aligned decisions, and support our healing journey. Yet many of us have become disconnected from it, often conditioned to believe that the answers lie outside of ourselves. From messages like “Ask your doctor if this is right for you,” to the constant noise of outside opinions, we are often taught to look externally for answers rather than trusting our own inner knowing. Learning to reconnect with your intuition is an important and valuable skill—especially when you are on a healing path. Join us as we explore how to access, trust, and strengthen your own inner guidance. ********************************************************We are doing a weekly Deprescribing class to help people find better solutions for their health. We have weekly topics or guest speakers.Join live on Mondays at 11AM PT / 2PM ESTDeprescribing: to taper or stop medications with the intention to achieve improved health outcomes.Sign up to receive the zoom link and announcements at https://www.DeprescribingPharmacist.org [https://www.deprescribingpharmacist.org/]Or watch the recordings here on bitchute. https://www.bitchute.com/DePrescribingpharmacist [https://www.bitchute.com/DePrescribingpharmacist]Join our facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/DeprescribingPharmacist/ [https://www.facebook.com/DeprescribingPharmacist/]Dr Leyla Ali is a pharmacist and author of: Off Balance, the American Way of Health, A Pharmacist’s Perspective on Why Drugs Don’t Work. and The So You’ve been Diagnosed with Cancer and now You’re in a Panic Handbook, an Overview of Options.Available on amazon or on her website:website: www.DeprescribingPharmacist.org [http://www.deprescribingpharmacist.org/]contact: Leyla@DeprescribingPharmacist.org

Deprescribing #102, The Studies Show ... But Can we Trust the Headlines? Dr. Leyla Ali

Every day we see headlines that begin with “Studies show…”— but what do those studies actually mean, and how reliable are the conclusions? Are they creating a new truth? Or is there bias? Or are they conducted by the companies that will profit from the results? Let's explore how scientific studies are designed, interpreted, and communicated to the public. ****************************************************** We are doing a weekly Deprescribing class to help people find better solutions for their health.
