After noticing a lack of non-toxic environmentally friendly surfboards, Jack started developing and building his own boards full-time in 2017. Using recyclable materials that otherwise would have become landfill waste, Jack aims to create affordable, high-quality boards that also have a minimum impact on the environment. Not many of us think of the negative impacts a yoga mat can have on the environment, on the people who made the mat, or even on us as consumers. However, Danny, the founder of Valka Yoga, built a socially and environmentally conscious business on this thought. - Jasmine Mayhead Danny Garg is the founder of Valka Yoga [https://valkayoga.co.nz], a company dedicated to sustainability and making high quality and ethically sourced yoga gear accessible to everyone. I met Danny many years ago at one of my yoga classes at Lululemon.
