“A Song About The Lion King”

Pastor Phill communicates that when we have the questions “where are you God? Where have you been?” we should turn to this psalm. In it we find the Mighty Lion of Judah. Discussion questions: 1. Do you sometimes ask God why there is more destruction than deliverance in the world? Does this leave you asking God “where are you?” 2. How have you seen God display his power and presence admits destruction and difficulty? 3. Why is it important to know that God is the one who ends violence? 4. How does psalm 2 and Romans 3 help us better understand this passage? 5. How do we find rest in the destruction of the world? What does God do with this destruction? 6. Is there anything in life that cause you to question God’s goodness? How does this psalm direct us to respond?
