A Tribute

This episode is a special tribute to 2 men I have been blessed to call "Dad" Gary Ray Allen who passed away when I was 6 years old. And Lloyd Ashley Causey who passed away a few weeks ago. Thank you for listening. I sincerely hope this is as much of a blessing to you as it was to me to record. OBITUARY Lloyd  Ashley Causey passed away on November 12, 2022, at his home.  He was 58. Ashley was born on February 26, 1964, the son of  Lloyd Langford Causey and Etta May Reynolds Causey.  He worked for the Ford dealership as parts manager for 20 years.  He loved camping and his fur babies Luke, Penny, Cricket and Millie. He was preceded in death by his father Lloyd Langford Causey. He is survived by his wife of 30 years Karen Bishop Causey, son Eric Ray Allen (Terri), his mother Etta May Reynolds Causey, brother Davis Andrew Causey (Sherri), sister Reba Michelle Causey, grandchildren Abbi Allen, Hannah Allen, Titus Allen, nephew Carson Causey and niece Cayley Causey. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, November 16, 2022, at Glenwood Funeral Home with Rev. Marvin Curtis officiating the service.  Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. until the hour of the service. Burial will follow in Cedar Hill Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Carson Causey, Leon Simms, Charlie Jones, Tristan Lowery, Holden Ginn and Chris Barnard. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- I love you Dad....

Roe v. Wade overruled by the Supreme Court

The Supreme Court of the United States has overruled Roe v. Wade in the Dobbs v. Jackson Women's Health Organization case. Today's episode will have two sections. The first part will be dealing with the Constitutional issue that the court ruled on. The second will deal with some of my thoughts on the moral and policy issues in dealing with abortion.
