How to Get Unstuck in Your Private Practice and Life Feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or unsure what to do next in your private practice? Learn how to get unstuck by shifting your mindset, breaking self-limiting beliefs, and using simple strategies to regain clarity and momentum. If you feel like you’ve been spinning your wheels… This episode will shift how you see everything. YOU ARE NOT STUCK — IT JUST FEELS THAT WAY Being stuck isn’t a permanent state. It’s a perception. An illusion created by: Overthinking Self-limiting beliefs Mental overload It’s like an imaginary prison your mind builds — and then convinces you is real. But here’s the truth: You have the ability to break free. WHY YOU FEEL STUCK IN THE FIRST PLACE Feeling stuck is rarely just one thing. It’s usually a combination of: Self-limiting beliefs Not slowing down to reflect Over-relying on logic instead of creativity When these stack together… You stay in a loop. Thinking Analyzing Replaying Avoiding And ultimately… Not moving forward. STEP 1: IDENTIFY AND SHIFT SELF-LIMITING BELIEFS Your beliefs come from repeated thoughts. And those thoughts become your behaviors. So if you want to get unstuck… You don’t just remove the thought. You replace it. TRY THIS: Ask yourself: 👉 What is a better-feeling thought? Then intentionally shift your thinking. Because new thoughts create new beliefs. And new beliefs create new results. STEP 2: SLOW DOWN TO SPEED UP This is one of the most overlooked — and most powerful — steps. If the idea of slowing down makes you uncomfortable… That’s exactly where you need to start. Pause. Ask yourself: What’s working? What’s not? What do I like? What do I not like? And most importantly: 👉 Why? When you keep asking “why,” you uncover deeper patterns. You may realize: You’re the bottleneck You’re misaligned You’ve outgrown certain parts of your business And that awareness? That’s where clarity begins. STEP 3: GET OUT OF YOUR HEAD AND INTO CREATIVITY When you feel stuck, you’re often overusing the “thinking” side of your brain. You’re: Overanalyzing Problem-focused Mentally exhausted At that point, logic won’t solve the problem. You need creativity. TRY THIS INSTEAD: Unplug from technology Go for a walk Journal Daydream Revisit something you loved as a child When you shift into creativity… You access new ideas, solutions, and perspectives. FROM SURVIVAL MODE TO CREATOR MODE Feeling stuck is a sign you’re in survival mode. You’re reacting instead of creating. But the moment you shift into curiosity… Everything changes. You start asking better questions. You start seeing new possibilities. You start creating again. YOU ARE THE CREATOR OF YOUR LIFE You are not stuck. You just haven’t accessed a different perspective yet.
