Description

First off: LOLing and apologizing at the same time for the lack of audio skills we have during this episode. Between the masks and the echo of the gorgeous warehouse we were broadcasting from, the audio definitely lacks glamour and professionalism. Any audio experts need a job?! Secondly, we were honored to be in the flesh with Maggie Farrell from Maggpie Co/Maggiepie Rentals/Maggpie Market. And Jason, Henry and Walter of course! ☺️ Maggie and Jason are a couple who began their event furniture/decor rental business over ten years ago in the Philly market, and have now moved it to historic Boyertown where they have a property that is TO DIE FOR, which houses their newly renovated warehouse storefront to display all of their fantastic flea finds! We have been social media fans/customers of hers for the past 6 months, and figured it was time to meet and exchange some good ol’ fashioned human2human positivity [masked-up]. Our goal of this episode and especially during this year/time of year was to be the hypemen/women for small businesses. Large corps also need love obvi, but our local friends have smaller platforms to use and we figured we’d use our small circle to spread the love 🤍🖤 We chat a little about what “gives us life” from a simple sense, and how important it is to keep our appreciation for those simple things.

Favoriite Humans-Episode 21

Happy. New. YEAR! A year that will live in infamy for sure 🤪 We are all ready for this new, clean slate. Today we chat about new beginnings and how awesome they are, but also how scary they can be. The key [we think at least] is to have hope and keep going forward always. Also, a very important fact: Favoriite Humans Podcast is one year old! We have had such a fun time doing this podcast throughout 2020, and we’ve made many guests, some old friends and some new friends, who have either reminded us of why they are apart of our tribe or have taught us some pretty amazing new things. Our podcast has also taken a turn into targeting small businesses as our guests, which has been reaaaalllly fun for us. We also have some trouble with our AirPods during this episode so, no, we have not become any more polished. New year, same humans ✨
