What's the point of government? It's a question that sounds cynical, but it might be the most important question we can pose right now as the world we know changes in front of our eyes. When trust in institutions is at an all-time low, when policy feels disconnected from lived experience, and when the people most affected by decisions are the least likely to be in the room where they're made - we thought it was about time to ask who government is actually for, and what's the point in it at all.
