Status of MLC Highlights at BT90/Beyond the Boundary

We’ve delivered highlights and press conference video with permission from Major League Cricket on BT90 & From the Pavilion, but Star Sports, a Disney owned-company (formerly owned by Rupert Murdoch) that owns the copyrights in India has complained to YouTube. It is not a copyright strike so I am not terribly concerned about it long-term but it does limit our ability to get full effect from these videos because they are challenging it in territories outside of India as well. As a result, we will just do podcasts and written content for now about the league without any match highlights or press conference video. Shimron Hetmyer’s unbeaten 79 off 33 balls and Marcus Stoinis’ explosive 42 off 16 — 15 sixes between them in an extraordinary second-half surge — laid the foundation, before Jasdeep Singh claimed five wickets to dismantle Freedom’s batting lineup and seal a comprehensive victory. MLC Highlights from Oakland opener

Texas Super Kings claimed a 22-run victory over San Francisco Unicorns in the opening match of the Oakland leg, posting 161/8 before their bowlers dismissed the Unicorns for 139 in 17.4 overs. Amshi de Silva was the standout performer of the match, claiming four wickets and contributing a stunning one-handed catch to remove Lhuan-dre Pretorius, while Abhimanyu Lamba marked his MLC debut with two wickets.
