Gameday with Gabe
In the Big Apple, the Knicks were playing the Spurs in the historic Madison Square Garden. These Knicks, led by Jalen Brunson, had just been defeated at home two days earlier in the first NBA finals game at MSG since 1999. Game 4 didn’t look promising; in fact, the Knicks were down by as many as 29 points before mounting a comeback of the ages. They chipped away at the lead until it was no more than a point. With little time on the clock, Brunson hoisted a deep 3-pointer that fell short, but OG Anunoby was there for the tip-in. The Knicks won 107-106 and completed the largest comeback in NBA finals history. The NBA and NHL finals are incredibly entertaining this year! We have seen many close finishes, clutch performances, and lots of drama. Once these series end, the World Cup is just getting started. It will be played in the USA, Canada, and Mexico beginning Thursday, June 11. USA kicks off against Paraguay in L.A. Friday night on FOX!
