What if the biggest threat to your life wasn’t physical—but spiritual? This message from 1 Peter 5:6–11 is a wake-up call to the reality of spiritual warfare. The enemy is real, active, and deceptive—but not unstoppable. Discover the truth about the battle for your mind, your relationships, and your purpose—and learn how to stand firm in the authority and freedom Jesus gives. Be alert. Fight back. Walk in victory. This one matters. 📖 1 Peter 5:1-11 DISCUSSION QUESTIONS: 1. Has there ever been a time in your life when you realized you had been deceived? 2. When you read 2 Peter 5:1-11, what stands out to you? 3. Is there anywhere in your life that you sense you have given the enemy a “foothold?” 4. How does Jesus’ victory on the cross change the way we view and engage in spiritual warfare? 5. Why is it important to fight these battles together (through prayer and encouragement) rather than in isolation? 6. How do you sense God is leading you to take action this week in response to the message? + + + + + Hey, while you're here, please help Generation by clicking the 'Subscribe' button, then click on the BELL 🔔 (on mobile devices, also click 'ALL'). What traps are shaping your life without you even realizing it? In this powerful message from Mark 12, we watch Jesus face off against political and religious elites trying to trap Him with tricky questions...and instead, He exposes their flawed thinking and points to something far greater: the eternal. From political polarization to fear of death, from chasing approval to being stuck in past mistakes—we all face mental and spiritual traps. But the gospel offers us something better: a new perspective from above. Discover how living “above the line” changes everything...your identity, your purpose, even how you face trials. Learn how Jesus refused to be defined by temporary debates and instead invites us into a deeper freedom grounded in the unseen, eternal reality of God’s kingdom. 👆 You’re not stuck. 🕊 There’s freedom. 🙌 Jesus went below the line so you could live above it. 📖 Mark 12:13-27 DISCUSSION QUESTIONS: 1. Where in your life do you feel stuck or trapped right now? 2. What does it look like to live “above the line” in your daily life? 3. Are there areas where you’re giving more to “Caesar” than to God? 4. How does knowing you’re made in God’s image impact how you live? 5. How does the hope of resurrection shape your priorities and perspective? + + + + + Hey, while you're here, please help Generation by clicking the 'Subscribe' button, then click on the BELL 🔔 (on mobile devices, also click 'ALL'). Before you build high, you’ve got to go deep. Just like towering buildings needed deep pillars to stand strong on unstable ground, the Church—God’s people—needs a strong foundation to carry the weight, last through the years, and withstand the storms of life. This week, we're exploring the pillars of Generation: Gospel, Family and Mission. The Gospel is not about what we’ve done, but what Jesus has done for us. How He loved us before the world began, rescued us while we were dead in sin, and adopted us into His family through sheer grace. This is the hill we die on. From this foundation flow the other two pillars: Family and Mission. Whether you're brand new or you've been at Generation for years, this message will ground you in who God is, who you are in Him, and what He's called us to do. If you’re tired of shallow faith, religious performance, or disconnected church life, this is for you. Pillars aren’t optional; they’re essential. Dive in and discover what Generation Church is built on. 📖 Ephesians 1-2:10 DISCUSSION QUESTIONS: 1. What attribute of God in Ephesians 1 is most meaningful to you? 2. What verse in Ephesians 1 is good news to you personally? Why? 3. What has been your experience with Church being your spiritual family? Good/Bad? 4. What is the hope God gives us as the Church/His family in these verses? 5. Who is someone in your life you sense God has sent you to? (To bless and share Good News with?) + + + + + Hey, while you're here, please help Generation by clicking the 'Subscribe' button, then click on the BELL 🔔 (on mobile devices, also click 'ALL'). Why is it so hard to admit when we’re wrong? In this message from Mark 11–12, we explore Jesus' confrontation with religious leaders who refused to repent, despite every warning, story, and sign pointing them back to God. Like Ebenezer Scrooge, we all face a choice: ignore the truth or humbly confess, “I was wrong.” But confession isn't weakness. Rather, it's the first step to freedom, healing, and life built on the true Cornerstone. This message challenges us to find the courage to: 1. Lose the approval of others, 2. Trust God with our lives, 3. Own our failures. When we do, we discover that grace meets us right where we are. 📖 Mark 11:27-12:12 DISCUSSION QUESTIONS: 1. Who in your life are you most anxious about saying “I was wrong” to? 2. What area in your life is the hardest to trust God with? Is that mistrust right or wrong? 3. Where & with whom in your life right now do you need to 100% own your failure? 4. When and to whom will you confess “I was wrong” this next week? 5. Pray for one another. Pray the promises of the Gospel over one another in these areas. + + + + + Hey, while you're here, please help Generation by clicking the 'Subscribe' button, then click on the BELL 🔔 (on mobile devices, also click 'ALL'). Welcome to Generation! ⛪︎ In this powerful message from Mark 10, we meet Bartimaeus, the blind beggar who truly sees. Jump in as Tim unpacks not only what makes a great athlete, but what defines a true follower of Jesus. Don’t miss this invitation to reflect, respond, and follow the King who still asks, “What do you want me to do for you?” 📖 Mark 10:46-52 DISCUSSION QUESTIONS: 1. Why is the use of the title "Son of David" important regarding Jesus? 2. What discouragement is Jesus asking you to fight through right now? 3. Is there any aspect of Jesus' character revealed in this story that you have yet to experience? (Pray for one another regarding #3.) 4. What does commitment to following Jesus mean for you this week? 5. How can you encourage one another to faithfulness this next week? + + + + + Hey, while you're here, please help Generation by clicking the 'Subscribe' button, then click on the BELL 🔔 (on mobile devices, also click 'ALL').
