We're all really excited about this week's show and guests. We're going to be talking about a specific niche of marketing: Promotional Products and Trade Shows. We're excited to have three specialists in the field as guests this week. Mike Beckman Proforma BPM, Cumming, GA) will talk about "out of the box" uses for Promotional Products. Mike has developed a concept called "Anchor Marketing" to help companies focus their marketing message and the results they expect to the products they use. Michael Crooks (Crooks Advertising Alliance, Leslie MI) will discuss effectively using promotional products at trade shows. Michael is an accomplished speaker and author on the subject of "creative problem solving" As he says on his website: Promotional marketing is NOT about giving cheap stuff away in the hopes someone will be so happy to get your item that they'll fall all over themselves to do business with you. No, promotional marketing is about developing effective ideas that yield results for you." Frank Banta (Banta Promotions, Denver, CO) will talk about the good, the bad and the ugly of buying promotional products on the internet. Frank specializes in rush orders, and is often called upon when people order from internet companies and the product fails to live up to expectations.
