Pilgrim’s Progress by John Bunyan   Some who profess faith in Christ fall into one of these two fallacies discussed in this section: putting confidence in good deeds or merely positing a faith in Jesus without any commitment to Him (which commitment is required in the definition of true faith). Pilgrim’s Progress by John Bunyan   Most of the reading today covers the conversation between Christian and Hopeful about Hopeful’s conversion story. There are so many good reminders from this portion, especially the fact that we should be eager to share our own conversion story with those around us. 085. The Hour of Temptation

Pilgrim’s Progress by John Bunyan   Christian and Hopeful are faced with one test after another on this leg of their journey, but they continue to make progress towards the City of Zion. Pilgrim’s Progress by John Bunyan   The tired pilgrims reach the Delectable Mountains where they encounter four shepherds, Knowledge, Experience, Watchful, and Sincere, who resemble faithful pastors imparting wisdom to their flocks.
