As Wilma puts away her past with John, Harlean tries to help her remember she’s a woman with possibility. Violet questions Reno’s “all business” approach to divorce and the lack of support for its emotional toll. A secret tryst on the ranch jeopardizes a guest's future at the Wayward Breeze. A Piece of Work

While Lonny dreams of growing the family business, Wilma reveals the financial strain she is under thanks to hospital bills and ranch repairs. Lonny and Wilma try to rein in Miriam’s spirit as she’s determined to break free from the ranch, citing Harlean as a role model. Harlean steps out on the town with a banker, selling a good time in exchange for a luxurious dinner and a roll of the dice at The Willows, Reno’s most glamorous nightclub.
