On episode 19 of the GoWinOut Podcast we sit down with DJ Kmil, a native of New Jersey. He tells us about his growing pains as a new DJ in the Charlotte market, dealing with gatekeepers and being left out of certain venues for his reputation as a fierce turntablist.  He tells us about his experience dealing with incidents in regards to disagreements with owners and other DJs while performing at gigs, being taken advantage of by owners and promoters early on in his career, a contentious confrontation with hall of fame basketball player Allen Iverson and intimidating other DJs with his talent. He also is the first DJ to showcase a routine on the GoWinOut podcast.
