episode Dandelion Harvest, Falkirk Podcast cover

Dandelion Harvest, Falkirk Podcast

Welcome to the Dandelion Harvest, Falkirk Podcast. Join Laura Macdonald as she explores how Falkirk’s Floating Garden team created a special menu for its recent Harvest celebration. Laura chats to food innovator Simon Preston, whose project the Town is the Menu was the inspiration, investigating how the stories were collected with author and storyteller Allison Galbraith, and how the menu was conceived with Simon and local chef, Nicolas Runga. Laura is also joined by Neil Butler, Festival and Events Director at Dandelion, to discuss the wider programme and how people across Scotland have been encouraged to Sow Grow and Share this year. We’d like to thank Laura Macdonald for producing this podcast and Simon Preston, Neil Butler, Allison Galbraith, Iain Withers and everyone else on the day for being part of it. The music is by Falkirk Folk Club. Dandelion is commissioned by EventScotland, funded by the Scottish Government and is part of UNBOXED: Creativity in the UK.
