Acts 19:11–20 describes how God performed extraordinary miracles through the apostle Paul in Ephesus, leading many to be healed and freed from evil spirits. When some Jewish exorcists unsuccessfully tried to use Jesus’ name without true faith, the incident spread fear and respect for the Lord. As a result, many believers confessed their practices, renounced magic, and publicly burned their scrolls, showing the powerful impact of the gospel and the growth of God’s word.

Acts 19:1–10 describes Paul’s arrival in Ephesus, where he meets some disciples who had only received John the Baptist’s baptism. **Acts Chapter 18** describes the apostle Paul’s ministry in **Corinth** and **Ephesus**. Paul meets **Aquila and Priscilla**, works with them as a tentmaker, and preaches in the synagogue. When many Jews oppose his message, Paul turns his focus to the Gentiles, and several people—including **Crispus**, the synagogue leader—believe. God encourages Paul to keep preaching, and he stays in Corinth for a year and a half. After facing false accusations that are dismissed by the Roman proconsul **Gallio**, Paul travels on, briefly ministers in Ephesus, and leaves Aquila and Priscilla there, setting the stage for further growth of the early church.
