Thanksgiving: Giving Thanks Through the Pain

Hello Everyone 🤍 Today’s episode is heavier than usual so please heed the trigger warning provided! The holiday season brings plenty of joy and good cheer to nearly every community. In the midst of the joy we tend to cover up the pain. Even as we hide, deep down inside we are seeking the answers as to why we had to experience such heartache and loss. With God, our experience of pain is never in vain. I recount the story of my miscarriage in this episode. How it felt, the realizations that it provided and the promises that God gave. God does not ever derive joy from the pain we experience. Yet unlike us, He does know how it has the ability to transform us for the better. Trust that even in the toughest of situations, that God has not left your side at any moment. I pray this episode helps someone feel seen today. That regardless of your affliction, you know that you are not alone. Keeping in mind that God has not forgotten about you and that He is working always and actively for your greater good. It Is Still Yours!

Hey Everyone 😁🤎 Today’s episode is all about promises. Touching on our patience, our emotions during the waiting period, faith, and even idolatry. Our promises from God are always guaranteed. There is nothing that anyone can do, including you, that can stop God’s will. Keep in mind that His ways is not out ways, He takes His time to throughly mold us into exactly who we need to be. He does this out of His love for us! Sometimes promises look as if they will never be but stand firm in your faith, for it shall come to pass! Lean heavily into the Word of God and seek His face in all things so that you may be strengthened. Again, thank you so much for your understanding for last week and for your continued support!
