HFCC Christ Centered Hope for Today's World
Father's Day. For some, it is a day to celebrate a dad who has been a source of strength, guidance, and love. For others, it is a painful reminder of someone who is absent...or someone whose choices left wounds that still remain. What do you do with Father's Day when your father is missing? What if he was never there? What if the relationship is complicated, painful, or broken? In this message, Josh turns to Scripture and examines three very different fathers whose lives still have something to teach us today. Through their successes, failures, and legacies, we discover lessons that speak to both the hurts and hopes surrounding fatherhood. Whether you are carrying painful memories, honoring a faithful father, or striving to become a better dad yourself, this message offers biblical encouragement and practical wisdom that can impact generations. Our building was originally constructed in 1861 and is the oldest protestant church building in continuous use in our county. Many people have come and gone throughout the generations, but our goal will always remain: To Serve Jesus only, and learn from His Living Word, the Scriptures. Our small church body are all admittedly sinners, that openly strive to improve our walk daily, but also understand that we are Redeemed by the shed blood of Christ Jesus and declared innocent in God’s eyes due to Grace Alone! There is no act of baptism, charity or observation of communion that deems us worthy. No amount of following the law of Moses, or the ever-popular observation of legalism in many churches today that will save us. That is us believing in ourselves, rather than what Christ did for us completely. If you struggle with understanding the concept of salvation or are plagued by false teachings of following traditions rather than Christ alone, please do not hesitate to reach out to us. We would love to help! Please watch our archive of messages on a variety of topics. Please like and share our content with others that can benefit from what God has inspired our array of speakers to bring to the body. Most importantly, be sure you are secure in your relationship with God and Christ Jesus. It is so simple. Do not wait.
