Because God is gracious, He is patient. And though you never want to make the mistake of saying God's patience means approval of sin, you can be assured that if you turn to him, He will forgive. If you don't, that will mean judgment. We have historical proof of this in the lives of two kings. Both are wicked, but one repents and escapes judgment.
