It's been said that the greatest sin is the corruption of the highest good. The nation of Judah in the days of King Ahaz was guilty of great sin. They were God's people called to worship Him, yet they turned to idols. But before we condemn Judah of old, we must examine our hearts. We'll be given that opportunity as we explore their history on today's Hope From The Word. Instead of asking how low can we go, or how far can we stray, we should be encouraged to draw near and stay close to the Lord! There's much more to be said about this issue of why God allows evil and what his purposes are; and we will explore that issue, among other things, on today's Hope From The Word.
