episode 020 - Having The Courage To Jump Into The Unknown - Vivian Mineker cover

020 - Having The Courage To Jump Into The Unknown - Vivian Mineker

Vivian is a freelance illustrator living in Ljubljana. Her Instagram [https://www.instagram.com/vivian.mineker/] features lots of cute illustrations and has grown to over 40k followers. But just a few years ago, she was in good job that was comfortable, safe, but didn't make her happy! Rather than drown in that unhappiness she decided to leap into the unknown... On this episode we discuss what it's like being caught between two cultures, how she got the courage to leave such a 'safe' job and the realities of freelance life. We also start off very philosophically by debating what it really means to be a human at all. For more information about the How To Be Human project visit the website at https://howtobehuman.co. Jon tells us about the guilt that fuelled his gruelling 12 hour days, 7 days a week.
