We also explore the topic of faith as we compare Jesus' first sign (turning water into wine at the wedding in Cana) with this sign so that we can learn more about the progression of faith. Gospel of John: Part 15 - Who Are the Samaritans?

In this episode I dive into some of the history of the bad relationship between the Jews of Jesus' time and the people of Samaria. This is more of an introduction to John chapter 4 as a large portion of the chapter focuses on Jesus' travel through Samaria, an encounter with a woman at a well, and many Samaritans coming to salvation in Jesus. Understanding who the Samaritans are and why they and the Jews disliked each other is important background information for John 4.
