Knowing how to deal with offence is arguably the most evident sign of spiritual maturity We have to stop seeing our enemies as the evil that wants to destroy us, that might be their intention but little do they know that God is using them for our good.

Self is the problem

Self is the seed of Satan and its fruit is sin, it's our sinful nature which wages war against the spirit. Therefore, self has to be denied and put under submission to the authority of Christ.

Breaking the chains of the spirit of slavery

For you did not receive a spirit of slavery to fall back into fear, but you received the Spirit of adoption, by whom we cry out, “Abba, Father! We are children of God, not victims, slaves or outcasts. Regardless of what happens, all things work together for the good of those who love God
