Mare Nostrum is a marine and environmental protection and conservation foundation, that has chapters in different parts of the world. Here in Colombia we are based in Bogota, and our team is formed by five college students from three different universities and five different careers, united by our passion and concern about our planet's health and the climate crisis we are facing. We decided to start this podcast as a part of our education and awareness activities about natures care and environment problems. But HEY!, we aren't experts in this. We are just involved in the care of the nature, we are passioned about it and we think is important to share our experience and our work in order to inspire others to get involved in the incredible journey of protecting our planet and all it's natural wonders. In each episode we will talk about an specific topic, and we will share some tips and recommendations of all kinds. Mare Nostrum es una fundación de protección y conservación marina y ambiental distribuida por el mundo. Aquí en Colombia tenemos nuestra base en Bogotá, y nuestro equipo está conformado por estudiantes de tres universidades y cinco carreras, unidos por la pasión y preocupación por el cuidado de la naturaleza y la crisis climática a la que nos enfrentamos. Decidimos iniciar este podcast como parte de nuestras actividades  de educación y concientización sobre los problemas del medio ambiente, sin embargo: ¡OJO! nos somos expertos, pero al estar directamente involucrados con la protección y la conservación, creemos que es valioso compartir nuestras experiencias y nuestro trabajo, con la esperanza de inspirar a la mayoría posible de personas a que se involucren en el increíble mundo de la protección ambiental. En cada episodio hablaremos de un tema particular y les daremos tips y recomendaciones de todo tipo para conocer sobre la naturaleza y la situación ambiental de todo el mundo.
