Meditations With James Arheghan
Truth Matters — 3 John 1:4 In a world where truth is often treated as relative, this episode reminds us that truth is not determined by feelings, preferences, or popular opinion. 3 John 1:4 says: “I have no greater joy than to hear that my children are walking in the truth.” Walking in truth means allowing what is true to shape how we think, live, and make decisions. Christianity is not valuable merely because it brings comfort or makes us feel good. We follow Christ because we believe He is true. Feelings matter, but they are not always reliable. Truth may comfort us, but it may also correct, challenge, and convict us. We should care more about whether something is true than whether it is convenient or emotionally pleasing. Jesus declared, “I am the way and the truth and the life” (John 14:6). Our faith is therefore not built on emotion alone, but on the truth of who Jesus is, what He has done, and what God has revealed through His Word. In this episode, you will be encouraged to seek the truth, love the truth, submit to the truth, and walk in it every day. Key Scriptures: 3 John 1:4 John 14:6 John 17:17 John 8:32 Remember: you are loved, and you are never alone.
