This Mental Training is ideal for preparing for an upcoming game. We start by relaxing our bodies with a body scan, and focusing our minds on sensations. Bringing our attention to this sense allows for the mind to become present. Its optimal to be calm and focused and present while using imagery (visualization.) As we move into the imagery portion, remember that some major keys to effective imagery are to include all of the senses, add color, and most importantly feel emotions. Let’s go!
