50: 6 Things I Wish I Would've Known About a Failed Embryo Transfer Before Having One

In February of this year, my husband and I experienced a failed embryo transfer and it was absolutely devastating. We didn't know what to do, what to grieve, or how to move forward with our protocol. Now that we are a few months out from this experience, I can confidently say that we've learned a lot, grieved a lot, cried a lot, and grown a lot. It's one of the hardest things we've ever been through and unfortunately, there aren't a lot of resources or support out there to help those who go through this which is a big reason why I wanted to bring this conversation to the podcast. Mother's Day is coming soon and as special as this holiday is, it also comes with a lot of emotions that can be so hard for so many people. For the sake of today's conversation, we focus mainly on the aspect of infertility and those who are struggling to conceive. For the infertility community, Mother's Day is a day that feels really unfair. You feel like your locked out of a club that everyone else is invited too and with the constant reminders all around you, it just feels like a giant punch to the gut.
