Matt leads the Quantitative Biology Group in the Department of Biomedical Engineering at the University of Melbourne and is a Senior Lecturer there. Matt is a University of Melbourne alumni having earned his PhD there, was a software engineer before transitioning into research, and is originally from the US. He has a strong drive to do work that matters, and accelerating the pace of discovery and translation of new drug delivery systems. In his spare time, Matt likes to fence, and has represented Australia internationally.
