This week’s guest is someone many of you in the area already know from Lake TV [https://www.mylaketv.com], but he’s also someone I’ve had the privilege of calling a friend for a while. In this conversation, Will Holtz [https://www.facebook.com/williamholtztv] shares his story—the good, the hard, and the redemptive. We talk about growing up in the Catholic Church, the faith foundations that stayed with him, and the things he began to see differently as he navigated his own walk with God. Will also opens up about buying a local television station at a young age and trying to figure out who he was while carrying the weight of leading a business. Like so many of us, Will made choices he wishes he could take back. Choices that could have easily become the label that followed him for the rest of his life. But God had a different story to write. Instead of being defined by addiction, Will chose the difficult road of recovery. With the unwavering support of his wife and the grace of God, he has now celebrated many years of sobriety. Today, he shares his story not because he’s proud of every chapter, but because he’s seen how God can use even our darkest moments to bring hope to someone else. Will’s story was never meant to end with, ‘Hi, I’m an alcoholic.’God meant for it to become, “Hi, I’m here to serve.”I pray this episode brings hope to you and encouragement that you are NEVER too far beyond the redeeming power and love of the Father! If you are looking for someone to talk to I highly recommend checking out Identified Ministries.
