Accomplishments * Bathroom additions and renovations in Mariano Lake improving sanitation and accessibility for Diné families, including homes that previously relied on outhouses * Proclaimed June 2026 as Navajo Nation Pride Month, reaffirming dignity, equality, and inclusion for all Diné people including LGBTQ+ and Two-Spirit relatives; recognized Diné Equality and Navajo Nation Pride * 40 youth attended the Tohatchi Wings of America Running and Fitness Camp; NDOH partnered to host 10 camps for ages 6 to 18 this summer; honored Dustin Martin, Ester Beck, and Glen Allen * Division of Natural Resources Expo: since 2023, 4,500+ homesite leases, 3,500+ windmills rehabilitated, 51 stock tanks, 118 earthen dams restored, 26 miles of livestock waterlines, 10 new wells * 38 miles of irrigation repaired along the San Juan River; upgrades at Hogback Tse'Daa'Kaan Pump Station; NAPI partnership distributing 49,000+ food boxes 7. Major Projects * Visited two families in Mariano Lake who received CHID homes; one household of six had been in a deteriorated trailer, another homeowner lost her husband during the process but now has a safe home with electricity * Over 2,000 families connected to electricity under this administration; $100+ million allocated through CHID and the Housing Improvement Program * Signed support for Ramah Navajo School Board as its own fiscal agent for NM Capital Outlay funding; also supported extending the Sihasin-funded drinking water project deadline * Summer youth programs active across the Nation; in Mariano Lake, eight youth are irrigating corn fields, planting trees, and growing vegetables in a greenhouse built with NTU 8.
