Goliath is a giant, but he still needs a sword to fight with a young boy. You cannot use the same weapons Goliath uses to fight your Goliath, just as David used a different weapon to slay him. In today's episode we dive deep into fully understanding why legacy is not the preservation of success, but it is the preservation of encounter. There are individuals who have power but have never learnt to deal with the power. Don't sit on a throne God has put you on and listen to people. You might be appointed in public, but the spirit leaves in private just as God's spirit departed from King Saul because he failed God. God is not confused about locating you. David was anointed before Goliath. It is easy to forget the oil because it dries up, so it is important that the anointing doesn't move you away from God and your God given duty. "Ask! What do you want me to do for you before I am taken away from you?". We are in the month of legacy and in this episode, we look into understanding who are you following and who are you leading because there is no Elijah without Elisha. After the years of experiencing power who are you willing to pass it on to? When God delivers people, He doesn't end at the individual but moves on to the family. Things of God cannot be blocked by the family you come from, so answer the call because He doesn't call the qualified but qualifies the unqualified. Sometimes the big test begins after the victory because the devil wants you to blame God after you are blessed. In Elisha asking for a double portion of Elijah's spirit, he asked for the right thing, he did not ask for wealth, position, opportunity. He asked for Inheritance. Key scriptures are 2kings 2:9-10.

Warnings And Instructions

Warnings and instructions are attached to things of value. In today's episode we look into the importance of taking heed to instructions given. Who sent you? - You can be close but be far because proximity doesn't mean surrender. If you find yourself far from God, remember He is not the one who moved. The enemy doesn't knock when he enters because the greatest attacks against fellowship rarely arrive loudly. The enemy attacks the desire so that when you arrive at what you prayed for, you don't want it anymore. Remember the words spoken beforehand because a drifting church is often a forgetting church. Jude gives two pastoral responses which are some save with compassion and others save with fear. God doesn't only save people, He keeps people. The Wait Is Over

Fear prevents you from accessing the power you were promised. What you fear you can't attract. In today's episode we look into understanding Pentecost and how it is the birth of church. Pentecost produced more than miracles, it produced community. The Holy spirit is not a tool of God but is a Person who is part of the Holy Trinity with His own power. The Holy Spirit is a family maker. The Holy Spirit is called "Ruach" in Hebrew and they knew Him as the mighty rushing wind. You may not always see wind, but you always see what wind moves. The first language the spirit teaches is family: God as father, believers as brethren, Church as household. Key scriptures: Acts 2:1-4, Matthew 28:20, psalm 1:1.

We The Church

God won't test you if you are on the bench. Your test is your qualifying factor of what you are trusting God for. Division attracts the devil, so unity in the church is key. Key scriptures - Acts 2: 42-47, Acts 2: 1-4. In today's episode we answer the question - How do we close the gaps so that the devil doesn't come in between? Pentecost wasn't only power- it was people becoming family. What's important about Pentecost is the journey, not rushing and just focusing on the destination because the consequence is speaking performative tongues which is not from above, but rather from what you heard from someone else.
