I interviewed Amanuel Teferi, who is a research associate and doctoral student focused on the political economy of punishment in Canada at McMaster University about what is going on in prisons during COVID-19. I also interviewed Robyn Hasan, the Executive Assistant at Women on the Rise and a former inmate of 10 years at Lee Arrendale State Prison in Alto, Georgia, who was released in April 2020. She talked to me about what it was like to be in prison during COVID-19.
