Quality.. quality.. it's overrated. Don't try and go for "perfect", don't go for "100%". You know how much longer it takes to get to "expert level" compared to "just good"? A darn long time, that's for sure. It's often said that getting to 100% takes up to 3.. 5 or even 10 times longer than a 70%! Guess what, if you spent that time developing more 70% projects, products or services, you would have 3.. 5.. or even 10 times more than whomever you're competiting with. The 100% sounds good, in theory. But in practice, is it though?

Market validation. It comes in many forms and shapes! And often it's overlooked. Used as an excuses: Henry Ford, Steve Jobs.. they didn't listen to customer, because customers don't know what they want! Sure, true, to an extent. Especially when it comes to surveys and asking the customer, because deceiving others is very much human nature - even when done subconsciously, without bad intent! Yet, developing a product or service for your business without getting feedback or the proper market validation, in whatever way that might be, is a big no-go. Sure, you can get lucky and make it through, but in most cases, you'll waste a lot of time, energy, effort AND money.

Too many businesses, especially starters, focus on making products no one wants. Why is that? One reason is: they don't get enough feedback. Another: they're too stubborn to change.

A vacuum cleaner doesn't have to be that darn loud, did you know? And would you NOT buy a vacuum cleaner just because it's too noisy? As long as it works, right? The same goes for most other products and services.

Do you have a feedback loop already? If so, what is it? If not, when do you plan to create one? It makes a massive difference for your products and services and whether your business will grow.. or fade away in the background.
