It's possible to live in another reality, right in the middle of Berlin.Between Past and Future. Between Yesterday and Today. Under the overarching theme of “Construction”, this project explores the layers of constructions that emerge within the self, between borders and in-between spaces. Between the cultures left behind and the process of re-rooting within them. Between arriving and growing up and dreaming far from one’s mother tongue, in worlds not made for oneself. Integration, sation - uprooting. But how can cultures and traditions within communities be rediscovered, recoded, and reimagined from a contemporary perspective, where gender roles and social rules are questioned, rethinked, and rewritten? To create something new, I must engage with the old, with what has been passed down, suppressed, or lost across generations. For me, this means reading the traces of the past, remembering not to linger, but to unlearn and recode. This work is an intimate conversation with my mother, about a tradition passed down in our family over many generations: bean reading. A practice capable of seeing into the future and opening paths of hope. What was once part of the daily life of certain communities becomes here a personal and collective echo. Prayers from the street to the park

Prayers from the Street to the Park is an audio protest by Tazir, capturing the sounds, images, and tensions of Falckensteinstr and Görlitzer Park in Berlin. Between the police car's sirens, and the Islamic call for prayer, abd through footsteps and multiple languages, this piece explores resistance, belonging, and the quiet violence of gentrification in the city.

Forsterstraße 16-17

Come with us on a walk through Forsterstraße in Berlin Kreuzberg. Together, we travel back to the 1980s to explore the often invisible history of Forsterstraße 16–17, buildings once scheduled for demolition, later occupied, renovated, and lived in. As we move through the street, we recover forgotten stories of housing struggles, everyday life, and resistance, connecting past conflicts to the present. The Restart

Fifteen years of construction. For the people living on Karl-Marx-Straße in Berlin, it meant dust, noise, and disruption. When it finally reopened in 2025, the local administration celebrated revitalization and restart.
