A believer's greatest security is being aware of God's presence in their lives. *Mark 16:19-20* Although the Lord had spoken to the disciples, He continued to work with them because they fulfilled the condition that 'two cannot walk together unless they agree.'" *Genesis 21:9-11 [9] And Sarah saw the son of Hagar the Egyptian, whom she had borne to Abraham, scoffing. [10] Therefore she said to Abraham, "Cast out this bondwoman and her son; for the son of this bondwoman shall not be heir with my son, namely with Isaac." [11] And the matter was very displeasing in Abraham's sight because of his son.* Abraham was deeply grieved when Sarah told him to send Ishmael away, and the situation was so contentious that God had to reassure him, promising to make a nation from Ishmael. Though painful, Abraham obeyed because it wasn't God's plan for Ishmael to stay (Genesis 21:14). If we want to walk with God, we must be willing to admit that we are always wrong and God is always right. This is what fearing God means *Genesis 22:1-12* After Ishmael had left, God tested Abraham by telling him to sacrifice to his other son; Isaac. Abraham's heart was broken enough to follow and obey God. Our obedience to God's instructions is proof that we fear Him. If you fear God, the time has come to do whatever He instructs you. *Psalms 62:9, 33:16-17* Where is your confidence and trust? Our aspirations in life must be beyond men because they are all lighter than vapor; we must take our eyes off all that we see and look only unto Jesus. We must reach a place in our hearts where nothing in our lives competes with God. *Psalms 19:13 Keep back Your servant also from presumptuous sins; Let them not have dominion over me. Then I shall be blameless, And I shall be innocent of great transgression.* A presumptuous man trusts in their strength, wisdom, etc. David fought many battles and lost none because he never acted presumptuously. He always consulted God, knowing that anything he did without God would fail. We ought to always consult God as long as we are still on this journey, for it is not within our power to direct our steps. We have not traveled this path before, that is why we need His guidance. *Further study* Romans 1:5 Proverbs 21:31 Jeremiah 10:23 Joshua 3:4 *STAY BLESSED AND HIGHLY FAVORED, WE LOVE YOU. TAKE HEED OF YOUR HOLY CALLING *2 Timothy 1:8-9 who has saved us and called us with a holy calling, not according to our works, but according to His own purpose and grace which was given to us in Christ Jesus before time began,* When we confess Christ, we secure a holy calling not according to our works but according to God's purpose for us and there is always grace in God to back it up so that we finish the course. God chose and called us out according to 1 Peter 2:9 and there is a reward for those that have been called and lived in their calling. *Romans 14:11-12... So then each of us shall give account of himself to God.* We all have a unique calling: some are called in career, political arena etc and we must give account of how we lived. That is why Apostle Paul admonishes us in Ephesians 5:15-16 to walk circumspectly redeeming the time. We must take heed to the calling that we have received that we may fulfill it. Fulfillment and mounting up in the area of our calling comes from the place of waiting and tarrying at the altar and it is only possible by the help of the Holy Spirit. *John 14:16* *Romans 8:26-27 Likewise the Spirit also helps in our weaknesses. For we do not know what we should pray for as we ought, but the Spirit Himself makes intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered...* There are many weaknesses that we have as believers but the Bible points us to one of them; prayer. Help is available wherever we need it as long as that is where God has called us to be. *Acts 6:1-6, Acts 13:1-3* The apostles understood their calling and gave themselves to the ministry of prayer and the Word. That is how the Holy Spirit was able to help their ministry to grow and redefining their destinies. The place of the altar can never be avoided because it is from that place where we get wisdom on what to do and how to do it. When the Holy Spirit shows you what to do, He also fashions you with the tools to enable you. Some of the tools that we have as a ministry are prayer and the Word. As long as we keep at that place of the altar, the Holy Spirit will continue making us until we manifest and fulfill our calling. *Further Study* Ephesians 1:16-18 *STAY BLESSED AND HIGHLY FAVORED, WE LOVE YOU. OBEDIENCE REGARDING THE ALTAR 1 John 3:22 And whatever we ask we receive from Him, because we keep His commandments and do those things that are pleasing in His sight.* Obedience to God's instructions at the altar is very key. God gives specific, unique, and customized instructions to different people to their point of need to help them. Therefore, if we notice that things are not working out, we need to come to God of Him. It could be that we have missed out on an instruction that He gave and in return hindered that prayer from being answered. *Deuteronomy 28:1-2 [1] "Now it shall come to pass, if you diligently obey the voice of the LORD your God, to observe carefully all His commandments which I command you today, that the LORD your God will set you high above all nations of the earth. [2] And all these blessings shall come upon you and overtake you, because you obey the voice of the LORD your God:* The blessing is hinged to obedience to the voice of God and according to *Psalms 1:1*, this voice has been reduced to godly beings as the scripture says: blessed is a man who gets counsel from the godly. It is therefore upon one to choose what is specific or customized to them from what they have heard. *1 Corinthians 11:2-3 [2] Now I praise you, brethren, that you remember me in all things and keep the traditions just as I delivered them to you. [3] But I want you to know that the head of every man is Christ, the head of woman is man, and the head of Christ is God.* Leadership hierarchy starts with God, followed by Christ, then men- the leaders (apostles, pastors, teachers, etc), and men- the sub-leaders. Both leaders and subordinates are ordained by God and carry His voice. Our role is to obey the voice they carry as long as we are sure that they imitate Christ and that He is the source of their authority. *Isaiah 48:17-18 [17] Thus says the LORD, your Redeemer, The Holy One of Israel: "I am the LORD your God, Who teaches you to profit, Who leads you by the way you should go. [18] Oh, that you had heeded My commandments! Then your peace would have been like a river, And your righteousness like the waves of the sea.* Dryness in any area of life is not a result of the desert but because of missing out on the voice of God and failure to obey His instructions. It is therefore important, on our altars, to always inquire from the Holy Spirit concerning those areas we are experiencing dryness to help remind us if we missed out on certain instructions that would have caused us to walk into God's blessings in that particular area of our lives. *Further Study* John 14:20-21 Luke 16:19-30 Exodus 3:7-10 Ephesians 4:12 Numbers 11:16-17 *STAY BLESSED AND HIGHLY FAVORED, WE LOVE YOU.
