Design Can Dream - Selecting Materials for Design

Joining us in the studio today, straight from the stage of the Common Ground Symposium, is British industrial designer Tej Chauhan. Tej's focus is on creating connection, driven by an interest in engaging a broad audience, regardless of brand position or product sector. His multi-award-winning practice was established in London in 2005, during which time he developed his signature process, Emotive Industrial Design. In Tej’s own words: “It is all about creating joy and giving the consumer goose bumps.” Tej shares with us his journey within the industry - how he selects materials and all the stories that have shaped him.  This 3daysofdesign Podcast is part of a special series that 3daysofdesign and Design Can presents in collaboration with Velux under the name Design Can Dream.  This podcast was recorded during 3 days of design 2024 on a Seanics boat in Copenhagen harbour.
