Maneka Johnson has big plans for her modeling career that includes more runways shows, collaborating with fashion brands as a brand ambassador as well as doing some behind the camera work for some exciting photo shoots. Hello everyone! Thank you so much for tuning in today! I had an amazing interview with Plus Model Tai Love with Tai Love Productions.  Amber Taihera Harris-Hill is a registered nurse, devoted mother to 5 beautiful children, plus size model, and budding entrepreneur. She is a woman who loves fiercely and fights for what she believes in. She is compassionate and caring and will give her last to those in need. Her passion has always been to help others ever since she was a little girl. It is one of the reasons she became a nurse. As a plus size model she has continued to find ways to display that altruistic spirit by helping fellow models whether it be with make up, lending a article of clothing or shoes, or advice on walking or posing. Most recently she has started her own company named tai Love Productions, LLC. Through this company it is her aim to help other aspiring models get their foot into the industry. She offers workshops related to modeling etiquette, runway, and makeup, etc. She also helps to plan and coordinate photo shoots and fashion shows.  In addition to all of this, Amber has also formed a modeling group called QueenBeeHaviour Models and they are blazing a trail in the plus sized arena. Fat Men Traveling

Travelling isn’t always easy for plussize, chubby, fat, fluffy, curvy, bigandtall people. Travelling isn’t meant to be a fun enjoyable experience, however for the plus size community, we go through a mental battle of emotions and doubts before boarding our flight and before even booking the flight. From fitting into narrow aeroplane seats, plane armrest squeezing are thighs, the look on fellow passengers hoping we’re not going to sit next to them, oh and the shame of requesting a seat belt extended...you know those bright orange ones the air hostess doesn’t give discreetly..yeah those ones. We noticed there are a lot of platforms for plus size women to share their travel tips, concerns and experiences, which is great. BUT, there was no platform on the entire Instagram and YouTube space for plus size men to speak, encourage and share their travel diaries . Where can we find plus size men, jumping off a boat in Thailand, where can we find a plus size men travel forum, where can we find a plus size men enjoying himself in Dubai. Can plus size men go on camels? What are the plus size friendly excursions for men? Name me a hashtag for plus size men that love to travel? There’s none! Osheane, from London, UK. Realised there was a need for an online travel community for plus size men who love to travel or who would love to travel. @fatmentravelling was created in April 2019, the first Instagram page dedicated to plus size men who travel. On Fatmentravelling expect to find tips, travel videos, travel hacks, food and plus size men enjoying themselves abroad. Incorporating Self-Care & love through Yoga & Meditation

There are so many unbelievable benefits to Yoga! According to researcher’s yoga has been proven to lessen chronic pain, such as lower back pain, arthritis, headaches and carpal tunnel syndrome.  Yoga has also been shown to assist in lowering blood pressure and reduce insomnia.” Other health related benefits to yoga include increased flexibility, increased muscle strength and tone, improve respiration, energy, vitality and a list of other remarkable health benefits Yoga even assists in maintaining a balanced metabolism and weight reduction! Well, not only does YOGA assist in major health benefits but it is also very beneficial to your Mental Health as well.  Yoga has been shown to reduce stress and is very effective in developing coping skills for creating a more positive outlook on life.  Yoga’s incorporation of meditation and breathing can help improve a person’s well-being.   I had the pleasure of interviewing four fabulous women who have been enjoying the benefits of Yoga for years and it has blessed their lives so much that they've been compelled to teach and share it with others. Kellie Bischof is the owner of Blue Arrow Yoga & Spa in Slidell Louisiana.  She's a dynamic teacher whose life has been benefiting from Yoga for years.  She believes in the strength that it gives to women and she uses Yoga to empower and inspire others. Marion Noone is the Manger and coordinator for Blue Arrow Yoga & Spa and she's been practicing yoga since her teenage years.  She takes great pride in making her classes a safe space for everyone to come in and not only practice Yoga but to vent, cry, or just have time to regroup.   Asiyah H.
