In this, our final episode of season 4, our junior students, in their "Future Energies" project, talk about one of the most if not the most important topic when it comes to renewable energies and our energy future : the question of energy storage. Let Natacha, Damian, Matthieu and Ambroise take you on a tour of all the various technologies we have and are workign on that will allow us to storage all the excess energy that is goign to waste, everythign from reversible dams, to inertial and gravitational storage systems to futuristic batteries. While it's been around for literally thousands of years, geothermal is probably one of the lesser knowns of renewable energies. Well Lina, Maroussia and Salomé are here to remedy that. They will go over the various forms of geothermal energy that are being exploited today for everythign from individual heating to electricity generation, and go over the good and the not-so-good of this natural energy.
