Beskrivelse

🎧 Episode 11 – The One Where 8 Visits Became 7 This week was a big one — 8 visits turned into 7, but the love and care kept flowing. 💕 From home-cooked meals and recipe testing, to foot soaks and neck massages, it was all about nourishing mums (and myself) through the busyness. I also share a peek behind the scenes — contractor calls, admin juggling, and how it really feels when the week catches up and the tiredness sets in. It’s a reminder that even doulas need rest, reflection, and snacks sometimes. 🌸

Postpartum Doula Diaries - Episode 12

Postpartum Doula Diaries – Episode 12 Last week was… a lot. We had a 24-hour vomit bug sweep through — thankfully it was just my littlest man — but it still meant a couple of reschedules and a big shift in plans. I went from four visits booked to only two completed, juggling mum life with doula life the best way I could. Behind the scenes, I’ve been getting ready to welcome a new team member (announcement coming soon!) and replying to enquiries coming in thick and fast for 2026 — the first half of the year is already 75% full, which still blows my mind. Somehow we still managed a Sofia Day and a little bit of precious one-on-one time with my kids — the moments that refill my cup amid the chaos. And all the while, preparing emotionally for Taylor’s upcoming surgery… carrying that quiet mum worry in the background. A week of juggling, reshuffling, comforting, supporting — and giving myself grace through it all.

Postpartum Doula Diaries - Episode 10

🎙️ Episode 10 – Life, Loss & Late Nights This week has been a big one — five postpartum visits, a mentor call, and an exciting meeting with a potential new team member (the Empowering Mothers team is growing!). Between it all were late nights helping with homework, vocabulary day at school, and the reality of balancing motherhood, business, and life’s unexpected turns — including attending a funeral and a few rescheduled visits. This episode is a raw and honest look at what it’s like juggling it all — supporting families, running a business, and still being Mum. It’s chaotic, beautiful, and everything in between. Postpartum Doula Diaries - Episode 9

Podcast Description — Episode 9 Welcome back to Postpartum Doula Diaries 💛 In today’s episode, I’m taking you along for another week in the life — postpartum doula work, motherhood, and everything in between. This week looked like: • Supporting families through the early weeks • Mum life while navigating dropped naps (send help 😅) • Menopause chats (because motherhood isn’t the only identity shift happening) • Running into… is that my cosmetic Botox injector? (Yes. Yes it is.) • Rescheduling visits due to a death in the family — holding space for real life • Snack prep, toddler chaos, and warm chatty Nonna energy in the kitchen • And remembering (again) that no two days are ever the same in this work. Postpartum doula life is tender, funny, unpredictable, and deeply human. There’s no script — just showing up, holding space, and mothering the mother. If you’re listening along, I would love to hear from you — send me a message, leave a review, or let me know what part of postpartum you’d like me to talk about next 💛 Find me on Instagram: @empowering.mothers.doula Your support helps this podcast reach more women who need to hear they’re not alone ✨
