episode S2 E11: immPACC: Helping communities reduce structural barriers to immunizations cover

Beskrivelse

In this episode we talk with our own Amanda Frazer about our own immPACC Mapping Project (immunization-Primary And Community Care Mapping). We get into the weeds a bit quickly because, well, we are very excited about how this tool is able to help communities engage in and accelerate local ideas to improve immunization uptake. If you want to see a short overview video that also give a visual of what the maps look like, we have a 5 min video on YouTube [https://youtu.be/XKI2oDH8axQ]: More information can be found online here in our COVID-19 Immunization Toolkit for Primary Care [https://covidtoolkit.ca/immunization-primary-and-community-care-mapping-immpacc/] We are also actively training facilitators to run immPACC sessions . Please email us if you are interested in learning more: immpacc@covidtoolkit.ca [immpacc@covidtoolkit.ca] FOR SEASON THREE If you have topic suggestions, please email us at ISU@familymed.ubc.ca [ISU@familymed.ubc.ca]

S2 E8 - Coping in Month 15 - Languishing

After a quick chat about current COVID state of affairs (and Star Wars day), we talk about "languishing" - a new term but one that we think fits really well and that we will hear more often. Then we dive into a few ideas we have on how we can help ourselves and our patients address feelings of languishing. Hopefully these are useful for you as well. And here are some books and resources we mentioned (not affiliate links): Cal Newport: Deep Work - https://www.calnewport.com/books/deep-work/ Time Block Planner - https://www.timeblockplanner.com/ Daniel Pink: When - https://www.danpink.com/books/when/ Mihaly Csikszentmihalyi: Flow - https://www.amazon.ca/Flow-Psychology-Experience-Mihaly-Csikszentmihalyi/dp/0061339202/ref=sr_1_1?dchild=1&keywords=flow&qid=1620417754&sr=8-1 New York Times Article that started this one: Languishing - https://www.nytimes.com/2021/04/19/well/mind/covid-mental-health-languishing.html
