The Breakup

Recently, Kandi and I broke up. The decision was not of hate or anger but of a desire to move in two different directions. And while it is very painful for me and brings sadness to my soul, we wish to remain friends - especially while we're still living in the same house for the next several months. The entire breakup has been very difficult for me and while I don 't typically like to put this much of my raw feelings out there, I needed a place to express and release some of it. So, I chose my podcast to do just that. So, welcome to season 2. I will warn you that much of what I have begun recording has been pretty heavy and I am trying to be more vulnerable in my life experiences this season that I was in season 1.

Nicole has been a civil rights activist for over 55 years, stemming out of her childhood in San Diego. Nicole's up brining in a catholic Hispanic family and her dad's teaching of reading about the latest news and running for elected positions in school helped to shape the person Nicole became. This is an episode that should be shared with each new generation.
