During their lives Abraham and David revealed the difference between transactional faith that tries to control outcomes and covenantal faith that trusts God’s timing. What if faith isn’t about getting our way, but becoming more like Jesus along the way?

Following Jesus isn’t about saying the right things—it’s about a life that begins to move in a new direction. In the final part of the Zacchaeus story, we see what happens when someone doesn’t just turn toward Jesus or welcome Him in, but actually follows. Zacchaeus’ response is unexpected, costly, and deeply personal—and it reveals what real change looks like. Because when Jesus moves toward us and we respond, our priorities shift, our direction changes, and our lives begin to reflect Him.
